I produced this film with my good friends Austin Azar and Matt Rapozo in 2019. They started developing the script that year around June, and in the fall Austin and I decided to go with it for our Narrative class at UT. They workshopped the script while I handled most of the other aspects of production, as well as developing the visuals.
We cast a few friends for all of the parts, most with no acting experience (except for Santa), and started rehearsing different lines and action sequences. We shot it over two days, with one day to dress the set. It was a small crew and a lot of jumping around and scrappy filmmaking. Years later, there are a lot of things I would have done differently, nonetheless, I am incredibly proud of how it turned out and the passion our team had through the entire process.
