He saw a one-shot of him “stumbling” down a road with a mountain ridge behind him, which wouldn’t be too hard if we weren’t in the middle of Texas. After a lot of google maps searches, we decided on driving 7 hours to Big Bend, shooting the video, and driving back the next day. Sloan and I grabbed two buddies to come to help out, Reece Myers and Nicholas Wong, and we hit the road. I wanted to shoot it right as the sun dipped behind the mountains, and because we had such a short window for light, we ended up doing about 10 takes back and forth down the road nonstop. Once the sun got too low we packed up and headed out. In the post, we ended up going with the last take, and through a bit of color correction, I think we absolutely nailed his vision. A very low contrast pink sky vibe that fits his music perfectly
